I am Nirbhay Kumar, Post-Doctoral Fellow at IIT Gandhinagar working in the area of Condensation Heat Transfer with Prof. Soumyadip Sett. I have recently completed my Ph.D. from IIT Patna wherein I worked with Prof. Rishi Raj. My doctoral research work focused on the development of a gravity and orientation independent boiling-based system for thermal management in a variable gravity environment.
I have published 13 Journals with an average h-5 index of 81.5 as lead author and co-author during a short time span. Our research works have been recently recognized with the best poster award in “10th International conference on boiling and condensation heat transfer (ICBCHT)-2019 held at Nagasaki, Japan” and best paper award in “25th National and 3rd International ISHMT-ASTFE Heat and Mass Transfer Conference-2019 held at IIT Roorkee”. I am also awarded “Best Presentation Award” in “My Research in Three Minutes” during 8th Research Scholars Day-2019 at IIT Patna.

Worked as a Research Fellow in ISRO sponsored project "Enhancement of Boiling Heat Transfer via the Suppression of Coalescence in Microgravity" from October-2015 to March-2018, under the supervision of Dr. Rishi Raj, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Patna.
